LIFELONG LEARNING: AN UBIQUITOUS ASPIRATION

Published :September 9, 2023

Lifelong learning is a well-worn phrase, but how feasible is it really to acquire new knowledge later in life? Whether pursued for personal enrichment post-career or as a response to the evolving job market, the consensus is clear: remaining mentally agile and relevant is a highly desirable goal for most of us.

So how can we keep our minds youthful and in sync with the ever-accelerating pace of our world? How can we stay attuned to the rapid advances in technology? What are strategies to cope? We want to encourage trainers and coaches to offer these kinds of content to our audiences.

In many developed countries, enrolment in various educational institutions, particularly universities and colleges, is on the rise. The abundance of online courses is ubiquitous.

However, active agers, although benefiting from education and skill enhancement offered by online learning, encounter higher dropout rates. These challenges are often linked to limited tech familiarity and the need for more personalized support and social experiences.

Our goal is not to compete with the myriad of online learning opportunities, but rather curate a selection of service providers and institutions we find valuable.

Ultimately, the question arises: How can we apply these newfound skills? Is it solely for personal enrichment or can we harness these insights in meaningful ways…? For more check our People, Projects, Ventures platform.
