AGen 2026 | The 12th Asian Conferene on Ageing & Gerontology

The Asian Conference on Aging & Gerontology (AGen2026) is an interdisciplinary academic conference taking place 22–27 March 2026 in Tokyo, Japan, with both in-person and online participation options. Organized by The International Academic Forum (IAFOR) in partnership with the IAFOR Research Centre at Osaka University, the event convenes researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and advocates from around the world to explore key issues related to aging and gerontology. Japan's demographic context, one of the world’s most rapidly aging societies, provides a compelling backdrop for discussions at the intersection of health, policy, culture, technology, and community design.

Over six days, AGen2026 offers a rich programme of plenary talks, panel presentations, poster sessions, workshops, and cultural events designed to foster academic exchange and global collaboration. Participants will present and engage on topics such as longevity science, care futures, cognitive health frameworks, aging data analytics, and interdisciplinary design for quality of life across the lifespan.
